Bio
Nathan earned his B.A.Sc. in Biomedical Mechanical Engineering and B.Sc. in Computing Technology from the University of Ottawa in 2019. He has been working at JSI Telecom as a backend software developer. Over the past two years, Nathan has focused on integrating open-source machine learning models for transcription, translation, and computer vision projects for customers.
In 2021, Nathan began pursuing his M.Sc. in Computer Science part-time while continuing to work at JSI Telecom. He is currently advancing his studies and research in this field.
Research Interests
As a Master’s student in Computer Science under the mentorship of Dr. Miodrag Bolic, Nathan is exploring the integration of machine learning with real-time data processing. His current research focuses on tracking UAVs in real-time using radar and video data.
